This open call is intended only for professional actors who are not on Filmmakers on Spotlight.
If you have an agent, please ask them to submit you via the breakdown on Spotlight or Filmmakers.
If you already have a Filmmakers profile, do not submit through this open call, but through the breakdown.

We are currently casting for the following two roles :

JAMES – Playing age 25
Female
James is a young woman in her early 20s. She is a central figure in Bobby’s journey - sometimes a source of support, other times a reflection of his struggles, unintentionally holding him back. James is a key character in the story. We’re looking for an actor who can embody a presence that feels almost ethereal or transcendent, yet remains grounded in rawness, authenticity, and a distinct edge.

GREGG – Playing age 25
Male
Gregg is in his mid-20s, making his way as a small-time dealer. He carries himself with confidence, dressed in a tracksuit, his hair close-cropped. There’s an edge to him, but also a certain charm. Gregg is drawn to James. She knows the influence she has over him and uses it to get what she wants. Gregg is aware of it, but still lets it happen. Sometimes, he leans on her too, for connection. Friendship. Something real.
