“How to Get Cast: Mastering Auditions with Global Experts”
with Casting Directors
Maurilio Mangano Harika Uygur Hermina Fatyol
Maurilio Mangano is an international casting director whose work includes collaborations with leading filmmakers including Joe Wright, Marco Bellocchio and Pablo Larraín. He is a member of UICD, ICDA, CSA, EFA and AMPAS, and received the 2025 David di Donatello Award for Best Casting for Vermiglio.
Harika Uygur is an international casting director with over three decades of experience across film, television, and commercials. Founder of her own casting company, she is recognized for discovering talent and supporting actors in international productions. She is a member of ICDA, CSA, and AMPAS, and received international recognition including a CSA Artios nomination.
Hermina Fátyol is an international actor, casting director, and founder of METANOIA CASTING, working between Berlin and Budapest. With a background spanning acting and casting, she brings a strong sensitivity for talent and storytelling to international productions. She has collaborated with filmmakers including Ruben Östlund, Kornél Mundruczó and Béla Tarr and is a member of ICDA.
Selected participants will work with Maurilio, Harika and Hermina, who will share their experience and showcase how Casting works in general and in different regions.
A limited number of participants will be selected from all applicants.
The workshop will be conducted in English.
Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival will not cover travel or accommodation expenses.
Only apply if you are locally based or already attending the Golden Apricot International Film Festival.

Please allow for flexibility in your schedule, as the daily program may be subject to change.
Location: Yerevan. Exact times and venue details will be shared with selected workshop participants before the event.
HOW TO APPLY
To participate, you must:
- be a professional actor
- be from Armenia, Georgia or Iran and/or currently based in the region
- submit a One-Minute Monologue (in English) via this page
- be fluent in English
- be available in Armenia between July 13th - 16th, 2026
What is a OneMinuteMonologue?
It is a powerful, one-minute performance where you can demonstrate your range, depth, and unique qualities as an actor.
More information will be provided upon selection.
All applicants will receive a notification regarding their selection status.
